American Preferred Commodities APC, Corp. (“APC”) is required by law to inform its clients of its policies regarding privacy of client information. APC has always been committed to maintaining client confidentiality.

Types of Nonpublic Personal Information We Collect

We collect nonpublic personal information about you and/or your company that is provided by you or obtained by us with your authorization. This information is collected from you in written form, by phone, on line, and by mail. Examples of nonpublic personal information would be information supplied on new account forms and trading activity in your account.

Parties to Whom We Disclose Information

For current and former clients, we do not disclose any nonpublic personal information obtained in the course of our business except as required or permitted by law. Required disclosures include, for instance, complying with subpoenas, and requests from governmental agencies and regulatory authorities. Permitted disclosures include, for instance, providing information to our employees, and in limited situations, to unrelated third parties who need to know that information to assist us in providing services to you. In all such situations, we stress the confidential nature of information being shared as well as obtaining reasonable assurance of any third parties privacy policies.

Protecting the Confidentiality and Security of Current and Former Clients’ Information

We retain records relating to services that we provide so that we are better able to assist you with your professional needs and, in some cases, to comply with regulatory guidelines. In order to guard your nonpublic personal information, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards.

You do not need to call, or do anything as a result of this notice. It is meant to inform you of how we safeguard your nonpublic personal financial information. In the event APC’s policies change with respect to financial privacy requirements, you will be informed of the change, generally within thirty days.
